Further Information:Rivington Primary is an exciting place where we are always learning new things.
We enrich our curriculum with special events, trips, visitors and our role play activities which run from nursery to Year 6.
Entering our school you may find yourself joining the fire brigade, being interviewed by a very small police person, receiving an invitation to Cinderella’s Ball, meeting Florence Nightingale in Scutari Hospital or joining the circus! You may be asked to solve a murder mystery in a medieval monastery, make a healthy cocktail for the smoothie bar, serve in an African shop or carry out an investigation in a science laboratory.
All our activities are carefully planned giving the children a context for developing high standards in their literacy and numeracy skills, experiences whilst enhancing their knowledge and skills in other subjects and preparing them for the future. We also have a lot of fun!
