Service Description:I am a Registered Childminder just off Laffak road. I am a Fully Qualified Nursery Nurse of over 20 years and highly experienced in Childcare having worked full time with all ages in nursery settings in positions ranging from Nursery Nurse to Nursery Manager. To further my qualifications I am currently undertaking a part time degree in Early Years.
My business 'Little Ones' began in 2006 and quickly grew to be very successful with happy children and parents. In July 2014 my business name was changed to 'Lynne's little explorers' as I wanted something that truly reflected my setting.
I offer a safe, stimulating and caring environment in which children can learn, grow and have lots of giggles along the way. We are situated down a quiet avenue, with a lovely fully enclosed garden backing onto Sankey valley park.
I love the great outdoors and believe that children can gain an enormous amount from having as much time in the fresh air as possible to play and learn in their natural environment. Being located where we are is the perfect place for this, having our woods on the doorstep. We visit lots of places of interest such as parks and playgrounds, the library and attend our off-site allotment where we grow our own fruit and vegetables, look after our hens and collect eggs. I have gained the Council's Childminders Healthy Eating Award and hold a food hygiene rating of '5' the highest level possible.
I get together with another Childminder called Nicola King during the week were we can carry out activities together, share ideas and the children have the opportunity to make friendships with other little ones.
As I am regulated by Ofsted I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, I track each child's development then plan exciting experiences to follow their interests and next steps in learning. I am constantly committed to delivering the highest standard of care that I as a parent would expect from a childcare setting.
