| Service Description: | Rainford Brook Lodge is a Community Primary School with a team of 10 teaching staff, and 25 support staff, including the Headteacher. There are currently 185 children on roll, organised into seven classes. The school was built in 1972 and has a central hall with class bases and shared resource areas. Twenty first century additions to the facilities provided for the children include an ICT suite, which is used by all classes on a regular basis, and a non-fiction library, which can accommodate a class for the development of research skills. We have also recently refurbished our Foundation Stage setting to include excellent indoor and outdoor provision. We are an inclusive school with disabled facilities. Our extended provision includes ‘Parent & Toddlers’ which meets each Monday and Friday mornings, ‘Tadpoles’, our pre-school group catering for children aged 3+ and Earlybird and After School Care Clubs. |
